It is with bittersweet sentiments that I inform you of Dale Tison’s retirement at the end of this year. Dale has been an integral part of our team for 26 years—hard to believe it’s been so long. His caring nature, dedication, reliability, and unwavering loyalty have set a standard that is truly rare these days.
In early 1999, as I was growing my practice, I was fortunate to find Dale, who helped deliver excellent customer service and assisted with research and financial plan development. He is one of the few who has taken three sabbaticals during his career—a true testament to his ability to balance work and life, something we all strive to achieve.
When I reflect on the many years Dale and I have worked together, we’ve navigated some personal challenges and celebrated many great moments. We’ve both raised our children during this time, and now we share in the joys of grandparenthood. Throughout it all, Dale has been my right-hand man, developing an instinctive understanding of what our clients need.
While I will miss Dale, his work, and his great attitude, I wish him the very best in retirement. He has more than earned it. I’m sure he’ll continue enjoying trips to the beach, the Finger Lakes, hunting, and spending more time with his three grandchildren. He deserves this time with his family, doing the things he loves.
The good news is that Sara Minter has been training under Dale over the past year to take over his responsibilities, and Danielle Comer will fully move into Sara’s role. Sara has been with the team for about 15 years and will carry the baton with the same care, talent, and dedication that Dale has brought to the team. Additionally, Dale will continue as a client, so we’ll remain in close contact.
I will miss you, my brother, but the next chapter is looking bright for you. Enjoy this new beginning!
